Kuldeep Bishnoi and the HJC (BL) party

Kuldeep Bishnoi
In 2007, Ch. Kuldeep Bishnoi, along with his father, the Late Ch. Bhajan Lal made a decision to change the lives of the people of Haryana, and take into their own hands, the vast multitude of grave problems faced by their people. Subsequently, the Haryana Janhit Party was formed on December 2nd, 2007.

Ch. Kuldeep Bishnoi has always been known for being a qualified, well-learned man with highly commendable morals and values and this has been echoed in his political career and his party HJC (BL). He has initiated a number of projects that has created national benchmarks and steered Haryana towards progress and development. The outcome has been a massive change in the developmental status of the states and efforts to bridge the mammoth socio-economic gap. Its people have enabled his regional party to take precedence and win the loyalty and trust of the Haryana population.

Ch. Kuldeep Bishnoi has skilfully maintained a balance between several conflicting demands and interests. He has not let the needs of development impinge on the lifestyle of the farmers. The farmers, who constitute majority of the population of the state, often face serious difficulties because of developmental projects. They have often lamented over the fact that the present Congress government seem to have ignored the agricultural development of Haryana and are largely bent towards industrialization, and that too at the cost of the livelihoods of many farmers who lost their fertile land.

Kuldeep Bishnoi’s political handling of balancing both interests has brought some respite, such that the interests of farmers remain protected. He started a massive campaign against corporate stalwarts so as to force the present government to address these concerns. He stresses on the importance of industrialization and globalization but not at the cost of livelihood of the people and social balance.

While social work has been one of the primary objectives of the HJC under the leadership of Kuldeep Bishnoi, he has not let this impede the party’s efforts toward the development and progress of Haryana.

As far as his accomplishments in the political sphere are concerned, Ch. Bishnoi’s excellence in the field has been proved time after time. In many major elections (in 1998, 2007, 2009 and 2011) he has defeated other well-established political contemporaries such as Ajay Chautala, INLD party, the grandson of Late Ch. Devi Lal (Chief Minister of Haryana [1977 to 1979] and sixth Deputy Prime Minister of India [1989 to 1991]), and is the son of Om Prakash Chautala, who was the incumbent Chief Minister of Haryana at the time of Ajay Chautala’s defeat. He also defeated Jai Prakash, a congress candidate and former Union Minister who also lost his security deposit.

These consecutive victories led to a major reorganization of the political parties in Haryana. With Ch. Kuldeep Bishnoi’s political leadership on the rise and gaining more popularity, the HVP was compelled to merge with the congress to sustain itself. The victory of Ch. Kuldeep Bishnoi over the two political progenies led to the decline of the political activism of the INLD party in Haryana and further triggered the downfall of the Chautala’s dominance over Haryana.

Kuldeep Bishnoi has been a firm believer in modern values and ideas and promotes those structural changes needed to meet the new demands of society. He has been a strong supporter of free primary education and has also developed many women’s education schemes to encourage literacy for women and prevent the dropout rate among women. He has supported many other social causes such as those relating to environmental concerns and believes in empowering the youth. He thoroughly utilizes his skills to effectively implement strategies that cater to Haryana and its people and thus has truly earned the loyalty and trust of people.

  1. I am supporting kuldeep for doing well in Haryana. To know more about Haryana Politics, Venod Sharma has analyzed Haryana so closely, he believe some places are too developed while others are ignored. I totally agree with the fact, every place in Haryana requires equal education, opportunities, employment and resources.
